About the rates: figures are daily ECB reference rates served by the free Frankfurter API. Banks add their own margin for actual conversions — use this for estimates and always confirm the day rate with your bank or AD code holder.

How it’s calculated

Formula: Converted amount = Amount × exchange rate, where the rate is the reference rate (1 unit of the base currency = X units of the target currency) served live via the API.
Example: 1,000 USD × 95.21 (USD→INR) = ₹95,210.
What it means: The grid below the result converts the same amount into 14 popular currencies at once, so you can compare settlement options. Reference rates are indicative mid-market rates — your bank applies a buy/sell margin on top, so use this tool to estimate invoice values and quotation comparisons, not for actual settlement amounts.

Price Exports and Plan Imports in the Right Currency

Whether you invoice in USD, quote in EUR or receive payments in yen, converting accurately matters for margins and EDPMS realization tracking. This converter uses daily reference rates — reliable, keyless and updated on working days. The multi-currency grid gives you a dozen conversions at a glance so you can compare quoting options instantly.

Combine it with the Forex Buffer Calculator to plan import payments, or the Margin Calculator to check your export profitability after conversion.

How This Converter Is Different From Other Tools

Most currency converters (Google, XE, OANDA) are built for travellers and general consumers. This tool is purpose-built for Indian exporters and importers. Here’s what makes it different:

For actual settlement, always confirm the day rate with your bank or AD code holder — this tool gives you the reference rate, not the dealing rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the exchange rates come from?
Daily reference rates that update on business days, widely used as a benchmark for estimating conversions.
Is the rate the same as my bank gives?
Not exactly. Banks and AD code holders add a margin (typically 0.5–2%) on top of the reference rate. Use this tool for estimates and confirm the actual rate with your bank before invoicing or paying.
Does this tool upload my amounts?
No. Only a public rate lookup is fetched from the API — your amounts stay in your browser and are converted locally.
Which currencies are supported?
The tool supports 30 world currencies including USD, INR, EUR, GBP, JPY, CNY, AUD, CAD, CHF, SGD, THB, MYR and more.
Is the Currency Converter free to use?
Yes. The Currency Converter is 100% free for personal and commercial use — no registration, login or payment required.
